Key topics covered: full CG shot approach, optimal CG merging / light splitout, matte painting (ground), camera projection (foreground atmosphere, some lights in the background)
Key topics covered: multilayer EXRs, material and light properties AOVs, CG compositing. Tracking done using a 2.5D CornerPin2D track
For the keying, the edge key was refined thanks to the IBKColour node (as the green screen was not evenly lit)
For the tracking, a 2.5D tracking was used to track both monitors (Nuke CornerPin2D). For the keying, the edge key of both of the screens are refined by taking care of each screen edge separately
Several shots made during the 8-weeks "Compositing in Nuke" Rebelway training mentored by Nick Chamberlain.
All initial plates and CG renders are provided by Rebelway.
The training was really well structured and I learned lots of powerful techniques in there. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their Nuke compositing skills. Thanks !
